Mermazing Swimming® Limited is owned and operated by husband and wife team Barry and Melanie Dobbie. Both love to swim and spend huge amounts of time in the water with their children. Between them, Barry and Melanie have set up Mermazing Swimming® Limited to meet the overwhelming demand shown by people in the area to learn to swim.

Melanie's swimming teaching career began when she decided to retrain whilst on maternity leave with her eldest daughter in 2012 and hasn't looked back since. In that time, she has taught baby swimming, learn to swim, adult beginners, people with phobias, aqua natal, was the senior instructor at a school for children with complex additional needs, coaching competitive swimmers and everyone in between.
